BioMax Environmental conducted an extensive series of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigative surveys to determine the source of noisome odors and adverse health affects attributed to specific areas within the SFSU campus. Sampling strategies developed and conducted by BioMax including interviewing affective employees and the collection and analysis of over 70 specific Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) samples, 30 specific sulfur containing compound samples, and over 50 microbial air and surface samples. Upon completion of this survey and implementation of BioMax's mitigation recommendations, no further IAQ complaints from SFSU employees have been reported.
